For decades, the Friends of the Trussville Library have supported the library’s mission in the community. Through volunteering and financial support, this group plays a vital role in bringing the Trussville Public Library to life.
The Friends of the Trussville Library (FOL) members support library staff by providing extra hands for special events and money for programs and prizes.
We appreciate all the hard work the Friends do for the Trussville Public Library and the Trussville community!

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month (unless otherwise noted) to discuss current plans, events, and ideas for the Friends.
Meetings will last from 11AM-12PM.

The Friends run a used bookstore inside the library, stocked by community donations, which returns all proceeds for library use. Have questions about donating books? Call us at 205-655-2022, or stop by and let us help!
All proceeds are spent in support of library programming and collections. The store is located on the Auditorium end of the building across from the library offices. Cash and check are both accepted.
